Sweet Sentiments
Do you remember in elementary school decorating valentine boxes so that everyone in your class would have a personalized box to receive valentine cards? It’s one of the most memorable activities from elementary school I have. It was always so fun to decorate the boxes and especially receive all the various cards from classmates, but it was equally as fun to write out the cards that would be given away.
This sweet set of Mini Valentines Cards (pictured above) easily takes me back to that memory. These cards are a little more refined than those of my elementary school days. However, they are whimsical, sweet, and most definitely inspire the idea of just tucking a little card into someone’s bag, lunch box, or desk and that simply yet beautifully say “to” and “from”. No other words, no long messages. Just a simple understood, unwritten message of “I thought of you. I care about you.”
My hope for you this Valentine’s Day is that you are on the receiving end of such simple yet sweet sentiments. But I also want to encourage both you and me to be that person to write a simple card or note for someone you hold dear, someone you know who needs the encouragement, or even the one you don’t know but you see and know deep down that they need to receive that message the most. That small simple gesture will make a difference in the most profound and beautiful way.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you! May you find yourself surrounded by sweet sentiments that remind you that you are thought of, cared for, loved.❤️
